Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade Terms of Use

Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade is developed and published under the name Paper Egg Studios. These Terms of Use apply to the game; the game's data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Other Paper Egg Studios products may be governed by their own terms.

1. Using Orbit Ascend

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade. By downloading, accessing, or using the game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

Subject to these Terms, you may use the game for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is non-exclusive and non-transferable.

Your use of the game may also be subject to the terms of the platform or store you obtained it from — such as Google Play or the Apple App Store — and to other applicable platform terms.

2. Player Accounts and Identity

When you play, the game may create an anonymous player profile. An email address or password is not required simply to begin playing. You may have a public callsign and Pioneer ID that identify you to other players.

Some profile and progression information may be stored locally on your device and/or using online services. Account-linking features may be offered where supported. Cloud storage does not guarantee that an anonymous profile can be recovered after uninstalling the game, clearing app data, or changing devices.

3. Callsigns and Player Conduct

You may use a generated or custom callsign. Callsigns do not have to be unique; the Pioneer ID helps distinguish players with the same callsign.

Callsigns and other public profile identity must not be unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or misleading, and must not be used to impersonate another person, developer, moderator, or official account.

Inappropriate callsigns or profile identity may be rejected, changed, or removed.

4. Leaderboards and Fair Play

The game includes public leaderboards. Information shown to other players may include your callsign, Pioneer ID, equipped badge, score, and rank.

To keep leaderboards fair, you must not cheat, use modified clients, bots, or other automation, manipulate scores, exploit the game to falsify leaderboard results, or interfere with game systems without authorization.

Invalid or manipulated results may be removed, and online features may be restricted where reasonably necessary.

Purchases do not directly determine leaderboard score or rank.

5. Zircon and Virtual Items

Zircon and other virtual items exist only within the game. They:

• have no real-world cash value;
• cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real money;
• are generally non-transferable; and
• may be earned, granted, or purchased where the relevant feature is available.

The game may change earning rates, prices, availability, item offerings, and balancing, and may correct balances affected by errors, fraud, or abuse where reasonably necessary.

Zircon is separate from competitive score: Zircon is game-economy progression, while leaderboards reflect skill performance.

Deleting your game account may permanently remove associated Zircon, progression, virtual items, and other account-based game content. Eligible purchases may remain restorable where supported by the applicable platform store and purchase type.

6. Purchases and Premium Content

In-app purchases, where available, are processed by the platform store through which you obtained the game, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment and refund processing is handled by the applicable platform store, and Paper Egg Studios does not receive your full payment-card details.

Purchases may provide virtual currency, premium items, cosmetics, pilots, utility unlocks, or other digital content where available.

Eligible permanent (non-consumable) purchases may be restorable through the applicable platform store. Consumable purchases such as virtual-currency packs are generally not restored through the normal Restore Purchases function once they have been granted or consumed. Whether a purchase can be restored depends on the platform and the purchase type.

7. Optional Rewarded Advertising

The game may offer optional rewarded advertising — for example, an opportunity to continue a run after failure. Watching an advertisement is optional, and advertising availability may vary.

Third-party advertising is also subject to the terms and privacy practices of the applicable provider and platform. Rewarded advertisements do not directly grant leaderboard score or rank.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• cheat or use automated gameplay;
• use modified or unauthorized clients;
• manipulate leaderboards;
• exploit vulnerabilities for abuse;
• gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data;
• redistribute copyrighted game assets or software without authorization;
• interfere with other users or services; or
• use the game for any unlawful purpose.

You may not reverse engineer or decompile the game except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Account Restrictions and Termination

To protect the security, integrity, and fair operation of the game, Paper Egg Studios may remove invalid leaderboard results, restrict access to online features, and take reasonable action against accounts that violate these Terms.

You may stop using the game or delete your game account at any time (Section 2).

10. Intellectual Property

Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade and its original software, artwork, audio, text, branding, and other content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable licenses. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.

11. Availability, Changes and Disclaimers

The game and its features may be updated, balanced, modified, or discontinued. Availability may sometimes be interrupted, and bugs, maintenance, or technical problems may occur. No specific feature or item is guaranteed to remain unchanged.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the game is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the game. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date shown at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
