Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade Privacy Policy

Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade is developed and published under the name Paper Egg Studios. This Privacy Policy explains, in general terms, what information may be processed when you use the Game, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies to Orbit Ascend: Space Arcade.

1. Information We Process

The Game may process information needed to provide its features, including:

• Player account information, such as an anonymous player identifier used to maintain your Game profile.
• Public profile information, such as your callsign, Pioneer ID, equipped badge, leaderboard score, and rank.
• Game progress and settings, such as progression, Zircon balance, unlocked or equipped content, purchases or entitlements, and selected settings.
• Purchase information, such as transaction or entitlement information supplied by the platform store to grant or restore eligible purchases.
• Support information, such as your email address, device/app information, screenshots, and any information you choose to send when contacting us.

We do not require you to provide an email address or password simply to begin playing the Game.

Please do not include personal information in your callsign or other public profile information unless you want other players to be able to see it.

2. How We Use Information

We use information processed through the Game to:

• operate and maintain the Game;
• create and maintain player profiles;
• save and synchronize progression and settings;
• provide leaderboards and public profile features;
• maintain inventory, virtual currency, purchases, and entitlements;
• provide account-management and purchase-restoration features;
• provide optional notifications;
• provide customer support;
• protect the Game, players, and leaderboard integrity; and
• comply with applicable legal and platform requirements.

Paid items do not directly determine leaderboard rank or competitive score.

3. Public Leaderboards

The Game includes public leaderboard features.

Information shown to other players may include your:

• callsign;
• Pioneer ID;
• equipped badge;
• score; and
• rank.

Your internal account identifier is not intended to be displayed publicly.

Callsigns do not have to be unique. The Pioneer ID helps distinguish players who use the same callsign.

4. Third-Party Services

The Game uses third-party services to provide certain features.

These include, where applicable:

• Unity Gaming Services, for services such as authentication, cloud saving, and leaderboards;
• Google Play and/or the Apple App Store, for app distribution, purchases, refunds, and eligible purchase restoration; and
• advertising service providers, if optional rewarded advertising is enabled in the version of the Game you use.

These third parties may process information required to provide their services according to their own privacy policies.

Paper Egg Studios does not receive your full payment-card details when purchases are processed by an app store.

If additional analytics, diagnostics, advertising, or other third-party services are added to the Game, this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect those changes.

5. Advertising, Purchases, and Notifications

The Game may offer optional rewarded advertisements, such as an opportunity to continue a run after a failure. Watching a rewarded advertisement is optional.

Rewarded advertisements are not intended to directly grant leaderboard score or competitive rank.

In-app purchases, where available, are processed through the applicable platform store. Eligible permanent purchases may be restorable through that store. Consumable purchases or Game balances may not be restorable after they have been used, consumed, or removed with a deleted Game profile.

If you enable notifications, the Game may schedule optional reminders on your device. You can disable notifications at any time through the Game or your device settings.

6. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Some Game information may be stored locally on your device and some may be stored using online services associated with your player profile.

Cloud storage does not necessarily guarantee recovery of an anonymous profile after uninstalling the Game, clearing app data, or changing devices. Recovery may depend on account-linking features available in the version of the Game you use.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Game, provide its features, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Game against abuse or fraud.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information associated with the Game. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Game account from:

Settings → System → Delete Account

The Game asks for confirmation before submitting the deletion request. Account-associated Game data is cleared after the deletion request is successfully completed.

If you cannot access the Game, you can contact us at papereggstudios@gmail.com for assistance with an account or data deletion request.

Deleting your Game profile does not necessarily delete purchase records independently maintained by Google Play, the Apple App Store, or other platform providers. Eligible permanent purchases may remain restorable through the same platform store.

Deleting the Game from your device does not by itself necessarily delete information stored in online services.

8. Children's Privacy

The Game is not intended to be used in violation of applicable children's privacy laws.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children where parental consent or another legal basis is required and has not been obtained.

If you believe that information relating to a child has been processed inappropriately, please contact us.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other actions provided by applicable law.

You can also control certain features directly through the Game or your device, including notifications and account deletion.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its features, our service providers, or applicable requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
